Item #: 1002-307 -- A Nepalese Kukri -- $125.00

A Nepalese kukri in an associated brown leather covered wooden sheath, both probably of 19th century vintage. Single piece horn grip with ring, iron bolsters and pommel cap. Single-fullered blade. The good quality grained leather sheath for a considerably longer blade, made to accommodate two bi-knives and a third instrument in between (a narrow opening, probably for a pick) and also incorporating a flap for a tinder pouch, still present, stitched closed and apparently containing tinder. Overall GC; the blade spotted and with a couple of areas of light pitting, the sheath with tight stitching intact. Lacking the bi-knives. Blade 34 cm., overall in sheath 54 cm.
